Lindsay is a Registered 500hr Yoga Teacher, and Certified Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT.
She was just 14 when she was drawn to yoga after surviving a car accident that left her with multiple injuries including head trauma. It was the weeks following this incident that gave her the motivation to look beyond the recommended medication the doctors were prescribing her.
After research and an interest in a holistic lifestyle, Lindsay began breathwork and meditation as a means to end the pain. This led to an emotional healing and a deeper understanding of her body’s healing capabilities and ultimately led to an inward understanding of how the movement of yoga fit in to her breathing practice and healing journey.
After using yoga to also overcome and cope with emotional traumas, depression, and self-doubt, she decided that sharing her experience with yoga and holistic healing would become her life through Be Embodied with Lindsay. A few key concepts that Lindsay focuses on include educating others, opening new doors of how to live a more meaningful life, and learning to accept yourself completely the way you are.
Now, as a woman on her journey, I have come to realize the importance of the divine feminine, and honoring the Wild Woman in us in order to thrive in this world, confidently and in our power. As women, so much has been taken from us, and I believe this starts with birth. So I have dedicated my Yoga Therapy practice to working with women who are ready to take back their power, in birth, life, and relationships.
You, my sister, are here on this Earth for a divine reason.
