Yoga Therapy is a somatic healing modality, meaning we believe our bodies carry and hold the story that is our life within it. All the emotions, tension, feelings, trauma, illness, life changes, from the moment we were conceived up until now.
And very often we go about our daily life feeling all the feels, emotionally and physically that are stored in our body's without processing them in away that our body can acknowledge and let go.
Many turn to drugs and alcohol to numb the body from feeling.
To push to the side, until one day those feeling come flooding in, you may experience anxiety, depression, and many other mental disorders that come along with anything your body is being weighed down by.
Yoga Therapy is here to show you a way to deeply connect and to listen within your body,
to listen to the deep wisdom within yourself.
Yoga Therapy is NOT psychotherapy, and I am not a licensed therapist.
I am simply a holder of space for you to be able to witness, and to see your true self. We work in the present moment, and the words you speak will be from an embodied place, not from a mind chattering, storytelling, type of place.
This is a time for you to go in and touch the deepest parts of your being in which you can find the wisdom your body is trying to tell you.
From this place YOU will decide what is needed to make shifts and changes to live the life you truly desire.
I believe you are the only one who truly knows what's best for you and your body. Through these sessions I offer the space for you to explore what that really is, with complete acceptance and non-judgement.
